Kenya: Near Mount Kenya (6th of 8 posts)
The south side of Mount Kenya is a gently sloping mega shield volcano, a green landscape, some of it still clothed in tiny areas of native forest. We came to this area from the West, from Thomson Falls (driving on from Nakuru).
Here we share some stops west of Mount Kenya and south near the Tana river.
