Kenya: Mambo Game View at Nderit, Nakuru National Park (3rd of 8 posts)
Some game lodges are good because they are pure and wholesome. Great when good people run them. This place has that feeling. And...an amazing view, one that actaully could compete with the famed Nakuru Lake Lodge within the National Park, since it is located right on the fence of that park. But this place, the Mambo Game View, is in our experiance even better than the previously mentioned fancy elitist lodge!
Here we met David and Aisha, wonderful hosts, Nakuru born-and-raised. The set-up is simple and rustic, but they are slowly developing it for both a local and international clientel. There is a bar, a camping place and modest cabins.
Highly recommended if you are into birding and for the view of Nakuru's "game" in early morning.
