A personal family flashback.
I am posting some very nostalgic shots that I took during late autumn 2010 when DZ and I used to do a lot more fishing. Autumn is the best time to fish in this country - and some days (and nights) can be extremely lucky. On this trip to Euboea we had caught some wonderful young sea bass (escapees from a nearby fish-farm), huge Conger Eel, shining Grey-Mullets, a beautiful Sea Bream...and the largest Octopus I have ever seen in my life in Greece (3.2 Kg). Last photo shows our son hitting the octopus on the concrete to soften it; they later said it was very tasty. Those were the days...
